Troubleshooting

Symptom: connection does not establish

Check:

  1. System time accuracy.
  2. Client build freshness.
  3. Whether the subscription/config link was copied fully from the current GigaTap app flow.
  4. Local firewall rules.
  5. A fallback client/profile if the selected client path keeps failing.

Symptom: low speed

  1. Reconnect and test another exit node.
  2. Stop heavy background transfers.
  3. Refresh the server list before testing speed again.
  4. Validate client MTU settings when the client exposes them.

Symptom: connection drops

  1. Enable auto-reconnect.
  2. Try another network (mobile/home).
  3. Disable aggressive battery saver policies.
  4. Keep one fallback profile ready for blocked or degraded networks.
